Class of 2020 Announcement

This summer, Democratic women from all over the state considered their political futures and took the leap to apply for the Emerge 2020 class. Our recruitment committee, which consists of alumni, volunteers, and Emerge Maine Board members have chosen who will join the Emerge network by being part of the 2020 class. 

Our newest class has activists, veterans, community builders and change makers. We have women who are leaders in their business and education professions. We have women who have called Maine home their whole lives and women who have traveled and lived all around the world. Our class is from all parts of the state and all have different perspectives and goals. Reflective of the Democratic party and the makeup of Maine, we have a diverse group of extraordinary women joining our network – with goals to run for office and win. 

It is an honor to introduce the 19 women embarking on our 6 month, 70 hour training program this month.
