Emerge Maine is thrilled to announce the launch of our 17th Emerge Maine Training Cohort. We cannot wait to welcome this remarkable group of leaders into the Emerge Maine alumnae network!
The Class of 2023 program members hail from all over the state and bring with them a beautiful tapestry of diverse life experiences, professions, and passions.
Our class includes community organizers, retired business owners, nonprofit leaders, young lgbt political leaders, and CEOs of their businesses and households. These women are the future of leadership in Maine.
The program training opens in January and runs through a June graduation event. The cohort meets one weekend a month for live training on how to run successful campaigns for office at any level in the state. Members of the class will receive comprehensive training on campaign strategy, fundraising, public speaking and communications, field operations, and more through in-person, virtual, and recorded training sessions. Trainers for the program are experienced professionals with backgrounds as campaign consultants, advisors, and political staff.
Congratulations Emerge Maine’s 2023 Political Training Cohort
Emerge is changing the face of politics to create an inclusive democracy by increasing the number of Democratic women in public office with effective state programming that recruits women to run at every level; trains women with cutting-edge tools to run campaigns and win; and connects women with a powerful, national network of alumnae and elected officials. We are 100 percent funded through donations from individuals that support the mission of the program and we do not charge for our comprehensive 70-hour 6-month training program.
Please join us for a 2023 Cohort Reception on Saturday, May 6
